A support coordinator's job is to make the plan work. They interpret the budgets, find and compare providers, set up service agreements and step in when a service falls over. They do not deliver the daily support — that comes from the support workers, therapists and SIL providers they help you engage.

The funded level matters. Support connection is short and practical. Standard support coordination is the usual middle level. Specialist support coordination applies where risk is high and multiple systems are involved. Your plan states which one you have and roughly how many hours it buys.
