Who writes our content
Our content is produced by writers with direct experience supporting NDIS participants and older Australians, and reviewed by our concierge team before publication. Every guide names the author and the date it was last reviewed.
How we research
We rely on primary sources first: the NDIS Act, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission materials, the NDIA Operational Guidelines, the Aged Care Act, My Aged Care, and updates from the Department of Health and Aged Care.
We supplement with peer-reviewed clinical guidance for condition pages (for example, autism, ADHD, stroke and intellectual disability) and cite government and reputable charity sources where appropriate.
Plain-English standard
We avoid jargon. Acronyms are spelled out the first time they appear (NDIS, SIL, CHSP, HCP) and we test reading levels to keep content accessible to a broad audience, including people whose first language isn't English.
Accuracy and corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Every guide is reviewed at least every 12 months and any time the underlying rules change. Spot an error? Email hello@mycarelink.com.au and we'll update the page and add a correction note where the change is material.
Independence
Editorial decisions are independent of provider listings. We do not accept payment to feature, recommend or rank providers in our guides. Concierge matching and provider profiles are clearly distinguished from editorial content.
Use of AI
We use AI tooling to draft outlines and improve readability. Every piece is then reviewed and edited by a human before it is published. AI is never the final author of medical, clinical or legal content.
