Home Care Packages — find a provider you can trust
A Home Care Package (HCP) gives you funding to choose the supports you need to live well at home. We help you find a reliable provider once your package is approved.
What it is
A Home Care Package is subsidised funding managed by an approved aged-care provider. You direct what supports to use — personal care, cleaning, nursing, allied health, meals, transport and more.
Who it's for
Older Australians (usually 65+) who've been assessed by an ACAT as needing in-home care.
Home Care Package pathway
Apply through My Aged Care (1800 200 422 or myagedcare.gov.au). An ACAT will assess you and recommend a level (1-4). Once your package is assigned, you choose a provider.
