NDIS for ADHD — what's covered
ADHD on its own isn't usually NDIS-funded. But when ADHD significantly affects daily life — often alongside another condition — supports may be available.
Is ADHD covered by the NDIS?
ADHD isn't on the NDIS list of conditions likely to meet access requirements. The NDIA considers each application on functional impact. ADHD combined with autism, learning difficulties, anxiety or other conditions is more likely to be considered.
What supports help with ADHD
- Psychology for emotional regulation and coping strategies
- Occupational therapy for executive function and routines
- Coaching for time management, work and study
- Behaviour support for children and teens
- Support workers for structure and skill building
